Jeanne was born in New York, New York on October 30, 1951. During her childhood, she lived in Toledo Ohio, Rockford Illinois, Southfield Michigan and Williamsport Pennsylvania, where she met and eventually married her high school sweetheart and partner, Alan Richard Simon. She completed her undergraduate studies at Bucknell University and St. Mary's University and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1973. While raising her two daughters, Jeanne entered Nova University Law School (currently known as Nova Southeastern University) in 1986. She was the recipient of awards for academic excellence in Constitutional Law, Creditors Rights & Debtors Remedies, Family Law, Professional Responsibility, Criminal Procedure and Sales & Sales Financing and graduated as Valedictorian in 1989. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1989 and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida in 1993. She has been a member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, the South Palm Beach County Bar Association and Attorneys' Title Insurance Fund, Inc. Jeanne's primary area of practice is Real Estate Law, including residential and commercial real estate closings, title insurance, contract negotiation and real estate development.

In her personal time, Jeanne enjoys painting, reading and spending time with her three dogs and her family. She has served on the Advisory Board of First Southern Bank, is a member of charitable organizations including Haddassah and Women's American ORT and is a regular pheresis donor at the South Florida Blood Bank, which provides blood platelets to cancer patients and others in need.

Jeanne was a principle in Simon & Simon Chartered Attorneys from 1989 through 2001. Presently, Jeanne is OF COUNSEL to Simon & Simon Chartered Attorneys and has restricted her practice to allow time for other business and personal endeavors.
